Middle/High school
In future years, our school will expand to provide both the IB-based Middle Years Programme (ages of 11 to 16 years) and the IB’s Diploma Programme (ages 16 to 19 years). Adolescence and young adulthood can be a developmentally, academically and socially challenging time. Therefore, a student’s transition must be one of continued security, encouragement and support. IS Brescia will be there as part of your child’s educational journey.
MYP: Centred on five areas of interaction, our curriculum will be based on fulfilment of a framework of study including: the mother-tongue language, English, a third language, mathematics, sciences, the arts, humanities, technology and physical education. Extra-curricular activities, including music, theatre and sports, will parallel academics and spotlight increasing interest in social interaction.
DP: Ensuring the continued level of dedication to achievement that our students and their parents expect, IS Brescia is set to provide a six-course, two-year-based curriculum. Promoting in-depth study, research, analysis and reflection, our rigorous but rewarding course of instruction will prepare our students for university and a future life as part of an international community of life-long learners
